The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. What an amazing place. Comfortable, tastefully decorated, but not overly manicured as many other resorts. The food was great, the staff friendly and helpful. Service superb. Paradise beach with white sand and a tranquil sea to swim in. Hands down my most relaxing stay in Sri Lanka.

We spent three nights at Sunrise Pasikuda and it was perfect. The hotel is immaculate and our room (we had a family suite) was spacious and comfortable with a huge bathroom and two toilets, and a big balcony. We loved the little extras like the fruit plate and flowers on the bed. The location is great. The hotel has a huge pool which leads down to the hotel beach which is clean and quiet with a beach bar. You can do water sports and we did a boat trip that took us to local reefs with excellent snorkelling. We had all our meals here and I can’t fault the food. Breakfast and dinner are buffets with wide choice and there was entertainment every evening. We liked playing pool although the pool cues need an update. What made our stay so special was the staff at the hotel. They are so warm and welcoming and just want you to have a great time. We will definitely return.

Set along the beachfront just metres away from the pristine beaches of Pasikudha Bay, Uga Bay - Pasikuda boasts well appointed rooms, a spacious outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi access. Beautiful resort with amazing location just by the ocean and amazing beach.The hotel quard was always present by the beach, so we could safely keep our stuff there end enjoying the ocen for hours. I appreciate spacious rooms, fast roomservice, great cleanliness and always helpful staff. The food buffet was excellent. Thank you and looking forward to our next stay here. 🙂

Best thing about the hotel is the location. Nature lovers and people who like peaceful places must book this hotel only. And book it on full moon night. You will never regret. It will be a lifetime experience. Extremely extremely fantabulous moonlit night stay it will be for the nature loving people. Totally satisfied with the hotel stay. Clean rooms , Clean bathroom with bath tub , clean swimming pool , Moonlit beach experience. Beach is just 5 steps away from the hotel. Everything about the hotel is just 10/10. The staffs will make sure that you enjoy your stay completely. Babu supervisor , Ajeeth manager , Pavi cook + auto driver , Neroshan helper , Darshini and Ronshini cleaners..all of them did an amazing job to make our stay enjoyable. All of them are very very helpful , cooperative, supportive and hospitable. 10/10 Pavi makes very delicious food for the guest. Indian, Sri Lankan, English breakfast options are available. A la carte menu is available for lunch dinner snacks. Alcoholic drinks are also available. Food quantity is more than enough. One person cannot finish the food, they give huge quantity. We witnessed fresh fish buying from the beach fishermen. You may buy fresh fish from there and ask the restaurant staff to cook it for you. No disturbance, Only Peace and Enjoyment.
