I booked a room at Gabaa Resort, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience despite the unexpected situation. The staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help me find a reliable garage and get my car fixed promptly. The room was clean and comfortable, providing much-needed relaxation. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, exceeding my expectations. Though my stay was brief, the exceptional service and hospitality left a lasting impression. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

We stayed in the cabana, which looked exactly like the photos—clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with a hot shower and cold AC for a comfortable stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing fresh juice, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of flavors to start the day. They also offer tuk-tuk rides to Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rock and safari experiences at competitive prices, making it super convenient for exploring the area.

The host picked us up from train station when we arrived late from Colombo. We easily discussed anything and he also rented us scooter and booked safari tour for us for reasonable price. The room was nice and breakfast just amazing. Definitely recommend for anyone.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the Pearl of The Jungle private tree house on the property. Sameera and his staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed 2 dinners and breakfast each morning- the food was absolutely wonderful… would highly recommend for this alone. Our treehouse was quiet and extremely comfortable. The open air bathroom was nice and clean. We would live at the Mutu village if we could!
