There are almost too many options to choose from in regard to food but definitely something for everyone. The bed was comfortable, the room was so clean, and the little complimentary snacks were a nice touch. I would recommend to anyone who wants a nice getaway in Laos OR someone who is looking to treat themselves at the end of a LONG backpacking trip!!

Lao Plaza Hotel has been welcoming guests since 1997 and is located in the heart of Vientiane, a city famous for its temples and monuments. The hotel is very modern, and it’s in a good location. We enjoyed all the amenities, especially the pool. It was a great place to stay in Vientiane.

I liked the location and value for money. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, good-sized and pretty comfortable. The location for the hotel is useful for people who need to be close to the airport (e.g. early flight) and are travelling light. It is an easy walk. However, if you have plenty of luggage, you will probably want to take a taxi, allowing you to easily stay downtown and take one. Meaning You don't gain much, as the hotel is located on a one-way street and would probably need to drive a larger loop to get to the airport.
