Mercure wakayama is one of the best hotel in wakayama.. The room is really spacious..really big enough for 3 people..we booked mountain view room. Even though the location quite take some time to walk from the nearest sea.. But the location is very good.. We really like the outdoor onsen n the cleanliness of the onsen facility.. We also like the breakfast buffet in the morning.. There is also a shuttle bus to go here n from the train station., it's really helpful for the tourist

It sits right on the harbor at Kii Tanabe. Spectacular sunsets and sunrises. Great onsen waters. Hotel chefs accommodated my need to be gluten free perfectly despite how difficult it is with Japanese food. That kindness will always be appreciated. Great staff!

Set a 15-minute drive from Shirahama Energy Land and Shirahama Beach, XYZ Private Spa and Seaside Resort features free WiFi access and free private parking. The hotel was quiet and clean. We had a comfortable room with lots of space. The view of the ocean and stars from the private bath on the balcony was very pleasant. We had an excellent meal prepared by the kitchen. My wife is vegetarian and doesn't eat mushrooms, so I contacted the hotel before our arrival to see if they could accommodate her. They took a great deal of care to prepare a varied selection of dishes for her. She really enjoyed the meal. My food was also delicious. The service was excellent too. The staff are attentive, helpful, and communicate well in English.

The hotel has rooms with views that absolutely take your breath away. You look straight out onto a beautiful forest with nothing else in sight. The Japanese style rooms are huge and have a private bathroom with amazing views of the forest and river below. The outdoor onsen at the hotel is the best in Kawayu. It’s clean and right on the bank of the river looking out onto the forest. You can soak in the onsen and then take a dip in the fresh cold river a few steps away. This is a stay to remember for a lifetime.

Musashi features Japanese-style accommodations and a hot-spring bath for guests to relax in. JR Shirahama Train Station is a 20-minute drive away. Super close to the lovely beach. We upgraded to an ocean view room on a high floor - not realizing at the the time that that allowed access to the rooftop onsen. it was a highlight. Breakfast and dinner buffets we’re extensive and delicious.

Everything was awesome . Staff was so polite and nice. I don’t know the name but an old man staff near the lounge was so polite and helpful. The free lounge and pool and onsen was so so so good . Dinner and breakfast was also very nice and 5star quality food and drinks. Parking is very spacious and free. Wheelchair ♿️ person can also enjoy the hotel . Best part is you can use digital payment also like PayPay and merpay , credit card . No ❌cash payment is accepted. Toilet was clean and reception is very big .

Sansuikan Kawayu Matsuya is situated just a 2-minute walk away from Kawayu Onsen bus stop. Very grateful for their shuttle bus service. We arrived at Hongutaisha late when the tourist center was closed and there was literally no bus running. Called them at around 7PM and got picked up in ten minutes. For a budget stay we were thankful for the service offered. Onsen and dinner/breakfast were also very enjoyable.
