Beachfront hotel offering an extraordinary view of the sea, which is particularly impressive when waking up in the morning. The beach was quite sheltered, as there were not many other guests at the time - and as the hotel only has seven units. The hosts were amazingly hospitable; they were always friendly and went the extra mile during our 3-day stay to help us with all kinds of requests. The facilities and some of the furniture were brand new and designed specifically for the hotel. In fact, the hotel only opened a few months ago, so it hasn't appeared on Google Maps yet. Breakfast is served at the affiliated Italian restaurant right next door. For context, this was a leisure trip with a family and a primary school child. We travelled by train.

Fukui Manten Hotel Ekimae terletak di Fukui, 3.7km dari Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall dan 16km dari Kuil Eiheiji. Location was perfect, both for train travel and evening meals. Also having a laundry was great.

Conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from JR Tsuruga Train Station, Tsuruga Manten Hotel Ekimae features large public baths, a breakfast buffet serving a variety of dishes and a business centre... Wonderfully close to train station. Comfortable room. Japanese breakfast was very nice, and staff were very helpful. Were able to leave luggage for a few hours too.

We will be revising our breakfast rates from Monday, June 23, 2025. Advance rate: Changed from 1,400 yen to 1,500 yen. Its a little small for two people but still cozy. You are able to use the washing machine and dryer at the onsen floor (forgot which floor), quite convenient.
