This recently renovated guest house is located 3.5 km from Porto Piccolo and 4.1 km from Tempio di Apollo. Guests can use the sauna and the hammam, or enjoy pool views. Pamela and Paolo were great hosts. The Villa is stunning. The amenities superb. It is close to the action in Syracuse (for me seeing the UNESCO sites) but far enough that you don't feel like you are in the city. There is an indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath right now. Outdoor pool almost ready for water to be added. Parking is free and onsite. Easy access to grocery stores too. The Villa has a full kitchen with a big fridge that guests can use as well as a small one in the room.

Boasting a bar, Vento di Sicilia is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in the centre of Siracusa, close to Syracuse Small Beach. The bed and breakfast offers a spa experience, with its spa facilities, wellness packages and beauty services. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. The absolute best here was Valeria. She was personable and always helpful. The location is super and very quiet. The breakfast room had a beautiful outdoor deck with snacks and cool drinks all day. Breakfast was among the best we had in our month long trip in Sicily. The pastries were incomparable. The room itself had everything and was actually better equipped than most rooms. Valeria connected with us before we arrived and organized our ZTL permit. We parked a block and a 1/2 away in a locked guarded lot that was super.

White Bay is set in Fontane Bianche and features a terrace and shared lounge. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service, along with free WiFi throughout the property.

White Bay offers a continental or buffet breakfast. The accommodation offers room service and luggage storage space for guests. What more can I say. Our own pathway to the beach with less than 10meters to the water and even more WOW was having our own private pool on the terrace over looking the sea. The Staff were amazing with customer care at highest level. This location, venue, quality of meals are exceptional. For anyone interested, please book the wellness & Spa experience at Whitebay. The extensive buffet breakfast includes salami, homemade cakes, fresh fruit and juice made from Sicilian oranges. The restaurant with terrace specialises in local dishes, such as pasta with fresh anchovies, pine nuts and raisins. The pool was very nice and the staff were very well trained!! Overall a 10/10!!

Set in a former nobleman’s residence 1 km from Arenella Beach and 7 km from the centre of Siracusa, Dimora Caiammari Luxury Hotel & Spa is an elegant 5-star hotel on the Plemmirio Peninsula. This property offers free bikes and botanical gardens with 2 outdoor pools. We had a truly wonderful stay at this spa hotel. Nestled in a stunning garden, the hotel provided a tranquil and picturesque setting for our getaway. Our room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a large private balcony with a beautiful view of the garden. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a delightful range of homemade pastries and cakes every morning. Dinner at the hotel was also very enjoyable. This family-run hotel stands out for its exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to our next visit.

The Hotel reveals the perfect balance between tradition and modernity. Each space is different, but everywhere there is a sense of peace and luxury. Only one word “ EXCELLENT” I stay so many hotels in so many countries. I can say this is the best hotel I stayed. It’s expensive but worth every penny.

Set on cliffs overlooking Siracusa and Ortygia Island, Minareto is a 5-star luxury hotel in the protected Plemmirio area. This property offers a quiet location, outdoor pool, 2 private beaches and unbeatable views. The property is immaculate with beautiful cactus and olive tree gardens. The view is fabulous. From one side there is rocky beach with a view of Ortigia and on the other side there is a lovely sandy beach overlooking a cove. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. The staff was helpful and accommodating. It is about a 20 minute easy drive to Ortigia which we did a couple of times. Local attractions were easy to get to.
