The surprise was that this is a farm that cultivates ancient grains -- not only used in all their baked goods and pastas, but giving the names to each of its 6 rooms. It's the type of place we love and we plan to return to have at least a meal in their beautiful restaurant with its spectacular views of the hills. The room was immaculately clean, linens were lovely, bed was not the most comfortable -- this was the only minus. A charming place over all.
