The location is excellent, if your plan is to stay and explore the so called White Town of Puducherry. I loved the beautiful, historical building and especially the courtyard swimming pool. The staff was excellent: very polite, helpful, and friendly. My room was beautiful, spacious and clean with excellent amenities. I also enjoyed a lovely Keralan-style massage at their Ayurvedic Centre. Food was tasty and the menu had a good choice of varieties.

This Heritage house is one of the budget and the wonderful Stay, which I state recently. Just 2 km away from the White Town and the house is what exactly what you see in the picture. Don’t expect more than that. Simple Room and comfortable stay, location was centre and easily accessible to all tourist location and host. Ambrose was very friendly and guided us to visit all tourist places. The morning, breakfast is limited and enough for one person .

The property is a charming boutique hotel with old-world charm. The staff were friendly, and the room was large and comfortable. I had a good night's sleep, and a decent breakfast from a reasonable selection of food. There was a lovely pool, too. The location was great, too--in the middle of the French quarters, and close to, but not too close to the beach, which was pretty noisy during the Christmas Eve celebrations. A great experience, overall.

The staff are very attentive and proactively reached out throughout our stay to ask if we needed anything. If we requested things like more water, reservations, etc., the staff was very prompt and helpful. The spa facilities and pool are relaxing and affordable, the breakfast and restaurants are tasty with lots of variety. There was a live concert in the bar on Saturday night and the music was great. The game room was also fun, we played pool and golf and had a very nice time.

Located in the old French town along Suffren Street, Villa Shanti is just a 3-minute walk from the famous Promenade Beach. Excellent stay at this hotel! The room was beautifully designed, functional, super clean and comfortable. Since im a light sleeper I was worried about the noise, I can tell you i didn’t hear anything and had a great night sleep. The laundry service is immaculate The breakfast was delicious, best dosa I ever had. Also would like to add how complete it is. It included: fruit, eggs, dosa and coffee. Before leaving, I had a couple of drinks at the bar. The mocktails are refreshing and the iced coffee and snacks I had at the bar were really good. Would love to thank you Hanes for all your help sorting out so many things which made my stay memorable.

Set amidst a natural landscape, The Windflower Resort & Spa is located in Pondicherry. It features an outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant and standalone villas that overlook the garden. Everything was perfect. Allen, Alok, Somita, Veera were exceptional with the service they offered. Alok is a very responsible staff member. He arranged my cab from Chennai. I felt safe and happy. It is a great place for families to hang out. Clean, luxurious and well equipped facility. Great food. Caring servers.

We had a wonderful stay al Le Pondy. The rooms were delightful with a baranda outside with an overhead fan. The staff was attentive to our needs and wants. The message at the Ayurveda center was excellent. Walking on the beach to see the fishermen and especially the sunrise was memorable. We highly recommend Le Pondy.

Located along Coramandel Cost in Tamil Nadu, The Dune Eco Village and Spa features a private beach area. Rooms are fitted with a minibar, telephone and TV with a DVD player. Dune is an exceptional place to stay. A truly peaceful and relaxing setting with a real flavour of Indian hospitality. Set against a deserted beach but for the fishing bots, in tropical grounds, there are two beautiful pools. Restaurant serves excellent food- we ate there all 4 days of our stay. Treatments are wonderful and reasonably priced. Staying in bungalows furnished with traditional furnishings and huge beds is a refreshing change. If you’re looking for a flashy 5 star international hotel, it’s not for you - but if you’re looking want to relax and enjoy a real Indian welcome from outstanding staff, Dune is waiting for you! Don’t miss it.
