The service is outstanding: we got there at midnight and they managed to have dinner served for us at the rooftop restaurant with a lovely view to the fortress’ wall (btw, food was delicious!). The hotel is located a few steps away from the marina, where you find a variety of restaurants to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Five min walk to the pedestrian area with shops and many more restaurants and 7 min away from Kavala’s old town. Due to time constraints we missed the spa, but we are looking forward to a massage in our next stay.

The Egnatia hotel lies at the top of the hill of the city of Kavala. It is 32 km from the Alexander the Great airport and only a 5-minute drive from the city centre. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a room with a panoramic view of the city. The room was very spacious and decorated in a modern comfortable style. We ate a very good dinner at the hotel and breakfast was delicious.
