Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making... 10 out of 10. The whole experience was fantastic especially since it was our Honeymoon we couldn't have asked for a better stay. I mentioned when booking for a jug of dairy free milk, which we received in the room but also in a fridge which from my understanding not all rooms come with, again this was going above the call of duty. The room was amazing and cleaned to perfection. We ordered room service which again was second to none and when we dined at the on site restaurant again absolutely fantastic. We've already suggested that we will be coming back next year for our first anniversary.

Just a mile from Lake Windermere in the heart of the Lake District, this luxury boutique hotel offers home-cooked food and free Wi-Fi. Very clean hotel and beautiful rooms. The love snug was a great room and was great to use the sauna facility. Catherine was excellent and very friendly , making us feel welcome. The bubbly on arrival was lovely too!

Dating back to 1854, the award-winning Holly Lodge Guest House with FREE off site health club is quietly situated in the center of Windermere. The lounge area was used a lot as our family got together and had wine and nibbles and played games. The bedrooms were beautiful. Bonnie was helpful and friendly. Location was great. Breakfast was good.

St John's Lodge is an award-winning guest house situated between Windermere village and the Lake at Bowness Bay. We have nothing but praise for our lovely hosts, they couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was excellent and Rich still had time to chat to us. Everything was superb.

In a peaceful residential area of Windermere, this friendly guest house is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Bowness in the Lake District is a 10-minute walk away. This is a very lovely family, when we arrived from the train station, the road is not far, but it is very tiring to carry the luggage, the host helped us to carry the luggage to the top floor, the room for 3 people, the room is very clean, the host must be a very diligent person, the breakfast is super, the hostess is lovely and very polite, The cleanliness of their home is the best I have seen in more than ten years of travel. They must love their home very much, so they can run it so well. We live in room No. 7, and we will bring friends here again in the future.
