Caroline was perfect. Welcomed us, explain how the house works and suggested places to visit and restaurants to go. There were some things for the breakfast, which we were not expecting. Oban is gorgeous and staying here made the trip even nicer.

Views were stunning, we never tired of the view from the living room window. The facilities were excellent from the WiFi, to the boot room it really was a home from home. The beds were very comfortable and pillows were just as good. Owner was contactable and accommodating. Proper had some lovely period features mixed well with a more modern feel. Area and neighbours very quiet and private. One thing I didn't notice from the pictures was the extent of the hill gradient the property sits on and the steepness of the garden to get to the decking. This wasn't an issue for us, but might be for older / less able guests. Mobile phone reception was good. We were using EE and speeds of 20mbps+ were recorded. Another thing to note was the exceptional view of the stars on a clear night. We even caught a glimpse of the Milky Way with the naked eye.

This lodge was absolutely amazing. It is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. It had everything that you would need and more. The host Mark was very helpful and kept in contact with us from booking it to arriving at the lodge. It was spotless and there was all different patios and decking to sit at. The hot tub and sauna area was first class lots of towels and bath robes to use. There is loads of outside space with the big front and rear garden and it all lit up at nighttime which was a lovely touch. The kitchen had everything you need and lots more, the host has thought of everything and a bottle of bubbly and some shortbread and chocolates were an added extra. We had breakfast in the morning sitting out the front and dinner sitting out the decking area, there is nothing I can say bad about this place at all. The neighbours were lovely, we met a few of them on our trips out with the dog, the area is gorgeous plenty of walks and stunning views we made some amazing memories in our week's stay there and will definitely be back.

Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa enjoys wonderful views across Loch Fyne to the Cowal Hills. Offering en suite rooms, the hotel boasts a swimming pool and spa. Every attempt has been made at this hotel to provide for guests’ comfort. The staff were welcome, cheerful and as helpful as could be. The menu in the dining room was varied and delicious with a complete wine selection. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable and the hotel’s proximity to Inveraray Castle made it an ideal accommodation for exploration of the Campbell clan’s ancestral home.

Built in the late 1800s, The Perle Oban Hotel & Spa is an iconic, historic building on Oban's seafront. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Oban Railway Station and the Cal Mac ferry terminal. Oh, the staffs are great! And the location is fab. Great sea view.

Set on the edge of Oban's Esplanade, with sea views of Mull, Kerrera and the Firth of Lorne, the hotel has a sun lounge and free WiFi. Fantastic location in the heart of the bay with excellent room. Dinner was very well done, staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Overall a fantastic stay just too short.
