Speaking English, Spanish and French at the 24-hour front desk, staff are always at hand to help. Staff were so very helpful. We liked that we could park safely in the underground car park and use their electric car charging facilities. Room was good, with the best shower we had on our travels. There is no restaurant at the hotel for evening meal but the receptionist recommended the Kioski bar and restaurant just across the road in the park. I think this is under the same ownership as the hotel. We had tapas for lunch in the bar and had an evening meal in the restaurant. Both were excellent. A really good buzz in the bar with locals. As we walked past to go in the restaurant for our evening meal it was packed, so worth booking. We didn't use the spa facilities at the hotel.

Offering a spa centre and hot spring bath, Castilla Termal Monasterio de Valbuena is set in Valbuena de Duero. The hotel has an outdoor pool, children's playground and terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The best experience and highlight in this trip. Excellent room, and we went to spa pool everyday for more than half an hour (I can stay longer if I have time), excellent breakfast, bellboy is helpful and responsive when we need our car (they parked for us). Next time I will stay for a week.

The former monastery has 2 large cloisters, as well as gardens with a terrace, a breakfast lounge and meeting room. For an extra cost, there is a spa offering an indoor swimming pool, Turkish baths, contrast showers and a relaxation zone. The restaurant serves traditional dishes and offers a TV with Canal Plus channels. This hotel is lovely. Very nice decor creating a lovely ambiance.

El Lagar de Isilla is an exclusive hotel, set in the winery of the same name. Aimed especially at wine lovers, it features wine-making themed décor like barrel tables. It offers free Wi-Fi and free parking.

The restaurant inside the property serves traditional Spanish dishes. Wonderful rooms. Very comfortable and a very large and varied breakfast. Enjoyed sampling the wines on a patio amidst the grape vines. Very relaxing. Could not have had a better stay. Would highly recommend

The robes and slippers were so nice. The staff were very welcoming and excellent.
