The star gazing deck was wonderful (for sunrise and star gazing) and the hotel was tastefully decorated. There is an air of calm when you enter the hotel and it is definitely worth getting the larger room with the mountain view. Alex and his team were so lovely and helpful. We had issues with payment and they were very accommodating. Alex’s English is excellent and he was very knowledgable about the area. The Chinese style breakfast was freshly made and lots to choose from and we were even provided with some complimentary nourishing Chinese bean soup in the evening! Refreshing tea was served in the lobby. The cherry on top were the Tai Chi lessons, morning and evening which were included. I believe they also held tea tasting and calligraphy sessions too. The hotel is very much a retreat and we are definitely planning on returning.

The hotel is amazing. A bit far from city center but easy to access through metro/taxi. The room view was wonderful! The air conditioning was not able to cool down the room but the staff helped us by opening the window. Very nice stay!

Offering an indoor pool, Hyatt Regency Wuhan Optics Valley is centrally located in Hongshan District, Wuhan. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all areas. It was very quite. Very nice vibe. And the staff were very helpful and nice.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and responsive — I sent my clothes for laundry at 2 p.m., and they were returned to my room by 6 p.m., without any extra express service fee. The restaurant serves authentic Hubei-style dishes; the prices are not cheap, but the food tastes excellent. There are also many beautiful young girls in Wuhan — be sure to check out this hotel yourself!

Somerset Wusheng Wuhan offers spacious self-catering apartments in the business centre of Qiaokou District. It features a children’s playground, a fitness centre and a wellness centre. Very comfortable apartment with excellent facilities. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and varied. The location is perfect - right on top of a subway station and supermarket.
