Additional recreational facilities at the Delta Hotels Grand Okanagan Resort include hot tubs, indoor and outdoor pools, spa and fitness centre. I traveled from the U.S., so I benefited from the exchange rate. The Canadian rate for the room was $229. The hotel is in the middle of downtown, adjacent to the beach, and within easy walking distance of countless choices for food or beverage. I had a corner room, with two balconies, one side overlooking downtown, the other side overlooking the harbor and Lake Okanagan. Of course, adjacent to the lake, there is a large sidewalk, and boardwalk, and a wetland preserve, and an opportunity to see beautiful downtown architecture. It is a 5 minute walk to the Kelowna Community Theater, which is why I was in town. The TV and channel selections were excellent, and I think my king size bed was the best quality I've ever experienced. I traveled all over the U.S. for 36 years for business. I think this was the most comfortable, aesthetic accommodation I've ever had.

Each accommodation is a full suite with a five piece kitchen, living area, dining area, in-suite laundry and private balcony. Lovely hotel and location. Our stay was short so did not use spa, pools etc. But we went for a wonderful walk through a nut farm and neighborhood with beautiful houses to admire! The lake was beautiful. Wish we had had a longer stay planned here! Room was comfortable and clean. Good coffee. Close to restaurants, starbucks and some stores. Only complaint is can't check in til 5pm and have to be out by 10 am. Most hotels 3 or 4 pm check in, and 11 am check out.
