This property is an oasis just a stone throw away from downtown San Ignacio. I was so taken with all the trees and plants and I love that they have benches to simply sit and enjoy nature. The shower was phenomenal, the bed was comfortable, and the A/C was superb. I liked that there’s was a little coffee maker complete with filter paper, ground coffee and powdered creamer and I made good use of it in the early morning when I needed to work remotely. Speaking of—the WiFi was excellent and I had no issues with any of the conference calls I had during my stay. Lastly, I’m very impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. There was always someone around to ask for help or get a recommendation, without them being helicopter-y. If you need a nature retreat within easy reach of downtown (if you’re into walking) I wholeheartedly recommend this place! It’s especially perfect if you’re backpacking but want a nice, calm place to stay. The bus drops you off at the bottom of the hill and it’s a 5 minute walk.

We didn’t get to enjoy as much of the property as we’d liked since it was raining and we had to leave early but everything that we did see was just as perfect as the pictures online show

Just a 5-minute drive from the Cahal Pech Mayan Ruins, San Ignacio Resort Hotel offers an outdoor pool, an spa and fantastic jungle views. The Green Iguana Conservation Project is based on site. Very clean and staff all very friendly and helpful. Pool area is great to relax after any trips, and food (we had breakfast and lunches) is very, very good. Short walk into town and the hill (slope!) is easily manageable!! Don’t believe anyone who says it isn’t unless you have genuine mobility issues.

A true gem, within the rough.. true natural jungle experience with first class facilities, food and staff.. I have no complaints.. and I will return even if just for a relaxing day around the pool and some 5 star food. My special mention to Norma the chef, Rob the bartender and Glad GM. Well done folks.. This family-run lodge offers a health spa, an eco-friendly swimming pool and unique accommodation with private verandas and jungle views. The staff were wonderful and the grounds were stunning. Our room was also beautiful. We loved the on-site activities including the stables, butterfly sanctuary and canoes.

Set in beautiful gardens, Ka'ana Resort & Spa features a spa, an infinity pool and charming rooms with terraces. That there was an farm and the food used the produce that was there It was quite Staff was friendly

Surrounded by tropical gardens, Maya Mountain Lodge & Tours offers an outdoor pool, and bright accommodation with free Wi-Fi and wonderful garden views. San Ignacio town is 2.5 km away. Friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome, very clean and spacious apartment with little touches such as fresh flowers, beautiful gardens with wildlife, nice pool to relax in at the end of the day. We ate at the on site restaurant and enjoyed a good local meal.
