We have tried local cakes on the terrace and for dinner tasted some of the best gourmet meals from the talented chef Tomaz Fink. Highly recommended!

The Mönichwalderhof enjoys a scenic location in Mönichwald in Eastern Styria. It offers a spa area with an indoor pool, and a large garden with a children’s playground. Very friendly and helpful family and their crew. Open and available to any question. Being vegan i got special care with the meals. delicious and good quantity.

We especially loved the private breakfast in the Chalet—it was such a lovely experience to enjoy it together as a family, making it even more special for our little one. The location was breathtaking, and everything about our stay was perfect. We also had the chance to relax in the sauna, which was a great addition to our getaway. Exploring the beautiful surroundings with our two-year-old son through scenic hikes made the weekend truly memorable. It was the perfect family retreat, and we can’t wait to return.

I had an amazing stay at Mein Chalet in Schneeberg! The surroundings are simply breathtaking — beautiful nature, fresh air, crystal-clear water, and fantastic opportunities for climbing, hiking, and exploring the mountains. There is a wonderful walking path that goes all the way around the lake, which is truly amazing. The lake itself is surrounded by majestic mountains, creating a breathtaking view that I will never forget. I highly recommend taking advantage of the nearby hiking trails and mountain walks for an unforgettable outdoor experience. The food was absolutely delicious — every meal was full of flavor and prepared with care. The staff were incredibly friendly, with warm communication that made me feel truly welcome. The apartment itself was perfect — clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you might need. I truly felt at home from the very first moment. There’s even a grill available, which I happily used, even though it was summer. I don’t have a dog myself, but my neighbors did — and their dogs were very well-behaved. I found it amazing that there is a dedicated area with water where guests can walk their dogs, which is such a thoughtful addition for animal lovers. Another highlight was the sauna on-site, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of outdoor adventures. Overall, it was a wonderful experience in every way, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

Located halfway between Vienna and Graz, Sporthotel am Semmering offers direct access to the ski slopes and hiking trails of the Semmering. great place,, you need to adjust your timing so you can get the full experience January and February will be amazing there
