This was our first time doing a safari and it would take a lot to top it! Jordan and Bernard were our safari guides/trackers, they found the big 5 within our first 2 days. They both had great stories to tell and we had a good laugh together! Beyond the drives, the food and the pools at the resort were amazing. We watching a group of 6+ elephants playing in the water whilst we watched from the pool! The lodge was so easy to reach from the airport in Hoedspruite we were picked up from right outside and it only took around 25 minutes to get to the lodge. Overall amazing experience!

All meals were excellent, the game drives were superb and the personal attention by staff allocated to us was super. However the first haldf we had to share the game drives with another couple - it was far better when we could go on our own later in the stay

We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Rhino's Rest. The property itself is STUNNING! Everything is immaculately clean, beds are comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. We saw rhino everyday, lions mating, giraffe, elephant and all the game. Adél is an incredible, friendly and genuine host who made our stay everything we could have hoped for and more. Zodwana and Nelius do a fantastic job keeping the property clean and well maintained. We honestly cannot recommend Rhino's Rest anymore highly! We will be back!

It's my second time staying at Khiwane and it was once again amazing. The rooms are very spacious, there is a lot of space and the beds are very comfortable. There are a few restaurants around that are very good and it's close to the center of Hoedspruit. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in beautiful Hoedspruit !

Every detail is considered with care, everything you need will be handled. For the price they far exceeded our expectations. Spent 5 nights at this fabulous lodge. We did a number of full day or half day activities which the proprietor helped to arrange for us and every detail was worked out, ensuring all we had to do was relax and be wowed. Returning to the luxury of the lodge and cooling off in the pool and the stunning grounds was a perfect way to finish off those days. We supplemented the chilling out process with drinks from the expertly curated selection of fine South African wines or beers, spirits and soft drinks. The interior of the lodge and the private suite could only be described as luxurious opulence furnished with many beautiful African artefacts. And as if all of that is not enough we enjoyed ample beautifully prepared and presented breakfasts. We were also privileged to play host to families of nyalas and warthogs who visited the area just outside our bedroom window and patio doors to feast on fallen amarula fruits. Wow wow wow !!!
