An absolutely exceptional accomondation, it might've easily been the best hotel I've ever been to. It certainly beated even all five-star ones on my list at the moment. The room was amazing, spacious and comfortable. The bed was perfect (and big, too). The area is scenic, the breakfast is delicious. The hotel restaurant and the bar offer really good food and drinks.

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth by the friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The location is outstanding, nestled in a serene setting that offers the perfect retreat. The apartment itself is immaculate and well-appointed, offering all the amenities one could need for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the extra facilities like the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna, which added a touch of luxury to our experience. One of the highlights was having access to Beatriz’s private park, a rare privilege that allowed us to wander through beautiful natural surroundings. We spent 3 wonderful nights in this really beautiful, lovingly furnished and very clean house. The terrace and the garden behind the house with the relaxing hot tub were a delight after a long day of hiking and the second terrace upstairs also offered a beautiful view of the sunset. The landlady was very nice and answered all our questions immediately. There is also a nice bar with a beautiful view of the sunset just 500 meters down the hill. Highly recommended!
