When I arrived at Moomin Papa I immediatly felt home. The place is located in a little Onsen town full of chalets and covered in snow, it’s litterally like in a fairytale. I had a dorm but since the place wasn’t busy I had a room to myself. The room was super cozy and really warm, so really confortable. Contacting the host was super easy through the app, they are quickly replying and are making sure everything is allright, all the time. The onsen was a big plus, I really enjoy relaxing in it after a long day skiing. Also, the breakfast was amazing and when I told them I was vegetarian they adjust the menu for me. I really enjoyed my stay, Moomin and Papa are lovely people. I would come back anytime.

The staff at the location were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Very accommodating in terms of private onsen, made numerous recommendations in terms of food, and took very good care of us.

The host, Torazo, was lovely!! The service, the breakfast, the accommodation, everything was wonderful. It was what I needed and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return.

The location is very convenient. It’s a short walk (less than 10 minutes) to the slopes. There is also a few restaurants in the area too. The owner was super nice and helpful, I accidentally left my ski poles behind and he arranged for super quick delivery to Tokyo!
