Property was excellent, on great location. Room well equiped, bed more than comfortable. Extra clean, the cleanest hotel which I was. Everything was perfect. Breakfast also was excellent, with huge variety of nice food. Hotel for grade 10.

This hotel lies near the Hessian-Thuringian border, amid the beautiful landscape of the Thuringian Forest, directly at the spa gardens, and only a few minutes walk from the town centre.

We had an excellent stay - from the location, which is surrounded by nature an all sides, to the rooms, interior design, and staff. The mattresses are comfortable (hotel pillows never are), and as a coffee addict, I appreciate the coffee machine being re-stocked with good-quality capsules every day. The bathrobes and other items in the spa-bags did not incur an extra charge, which is also a nice gesture. The pool itself is nice, has reasonable access to natural light, and was never overcrowded.

Lovely setting, short walk into the town centre. Facilities were nice and the villa set back from the main hotel was quiet. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and diverse.

A very good place to stay overnight with the family. We stayed in three rooms that were connected to each other. The breakfasts were delicious. Staff courteous and helpful. The swimming pool wonderful.

Great value for money, however with some GDR charme. Central location and with parking in the back. Didn't use the spa at the nearby hotel in the end, but it would have been included.
