We arrived much earlier than the check in time, but the staff was very helpful and managed to settle us in a room at 11am. The hotel itself is in a very quiet area, there is forest surrounding it, many paths to take a walk or have a bike ride. There are even bunnies running through the hotel garden. The area appears as a huge forest natural reserve, which is amazing. The room was clean and very spacious. The restaurant was the most delicious one I have personally visited in Germany. The spa is clean, the facilities are well constructed so even if you are not alone in the steam bath, for example, it doesn’t feel crowded at all. I would love to come back for a longer time with a bike or hiking boots and spend extra time in the nature.

This family-run hotel has an indoor pool and a 9th-floor café with panoramic views. It stands beside the Witten Saalbau/Haus Witten convention centre, a 5-minute walk from Witten Train Station.

Spacious quiet room. Excellent heating. Safe. Fridge and more. Big bathroom. Instructions are by the phone are listed and clear. Parking is only €4/ night. Get the token before you approach the boom. It opens automatically upon exit. Restaurant food is amazing. On Thursdays you can eat as much Schnitzel as you want for €24.50. Breakfast on the 9th floor was great! There is a lift.

We stayed just for an overnight during a trip to home (Netherlands) so we and the kids can rest and sleep a bit midway. - Clean and spacious room - Breakfast was really delicious and available till 11! - Staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful! - Parking and 2x Electric car chargers My daughter was so excited to watch the train station from the room window We certainly would consider staying over again.

Very clean and comfortable. We chose Hattingen purely because it was about halfway from Bruges to Goslar. But what a find. The town was delightful and Ruhr Inn was only an easy 10 minute walk away so we were able to wander the village for an hour and a half often dinner in the evening. Beautiful.

Super nice location, very green (we weren´t expecting that given that "Ruhrpott" is very close). All facilities new, super clean, staff very friendly, breakfast excellent. Nice restaurant (Wilde Ente) very close, with minigolf.
