A perfect combination of old style tradition combined with modern comfort. Our host Hege Kristin made us feel very welcome. We had breakfast twice and one evening dinner. Both breakfast and dinner were great! An large variety of products to choose from, and many were home made. I tried some (for me) unusual combinations, and everything was very tasteful. Dinner was great too with local hunted deer stew and home grown vegetables. In between we also had some great conversations with Hege Kristin. Our host didn't make us feel like welcome guest, but she spoiled us like royalty.

We spent two great weeks in a cozy, well-equipped apartment that was perfect for two. One of the absolute highlights was the view: from both the window and the private seating area in the garden, you can look out over the fjord and the mountains across the water. Simply breathtaking! Our host, who lives upstairs, was incredibly kind and helpful. He offered great tips and information about the area, was always available if needed but always discreet. A lovely personal touch: he flies the flag of each guest’s home country – such a kind and thoughtful gesture! There's also a small beach nearby (5-10 min by car) with a grassy area and picnic tables and an easy access for swimming in the fjord on warm days. We really felt welcome and had a very relaxing time at that place we’d gladly return to.

The house is located on a mountainside. From the windows there is a beautiful view of the valley surrounded by mountains. An excellent base for exploring the area.
