These classically decorated rooms are bright and colour, with wooden floors and wooden furnishings. Each room provides an en suite bathroom, and all rooms include a TV and some of them have balcony. All Rooms have balcony with a view. Some of the rooms have a direct view to Neuschwanstein castle. From the outside terrasse or in the large garden you have a beautiful view to the mountains and the castle. The lovely view from room, reception provided valuable suggestions (like how to be castle and ticket). It is a lovely place and would like to stay again next time.

During the winter months the area is ideal for skiing, with ski lifts 3 km from Hotel AlpinaRos. The popular Königssee Lake is 5 km away. The front desk is only open until 8 PM; afterward, you need to enter and exit through the back door. Encountered three different staff members at different times, one of whom has a lower proficiency in English, but overall, they are all very enthusiastic. The location is also very close to lively areas. The breakfast content and quality are excellent, worth coming back for.

Restaurant & cuisine – The dining room delivered outstanding food, excellent table service, and mountain views that made every meal memorable. Hospitality – Staff throughout the hotel—from check‑in to housekeeping—exceeded every expectation. Breakfast experience – A wide and tasty buffet, prompt service, with hot dishes prepared on request made for an energizing start to each day. Ideal for short stopovers – I originally planned this as a two‑night rest to avoid a long drive after a flight. While I didn’t have time for the spa, its generally praised 1,000 m² wellness area shows just how full a longer stay could be. Impeccable cleanliness – I hold very high standards for hygiene; the room and public areas surpassed them entirely.

Farchant is an ideal staring point for hiking and skiing, with several skilifts within 9 km. Zugspitze (mountain) is 15 kilometers away and Eibsee (lake) is 15 kilometers away. Quiet location, but close to all the activities. Easy drive to Garmisch, Neuschwanstein, and Oberammergau. Very friendly staff! On our first night, we were welcomed with complimentary slices of homemade cake delivered to our room. Large breakfast buffet with lots of choices of meats, cheese, veg, fruit, pastries, pretzels, and eggs.
