For skiing, Hochkar is around 15-20min drive, depending on traffic but in the morning it was always good. Also 15min drive is Göstling an der Ybbs, there is swimming pool & sauna, where you can relax, also great for kids. Must be very nice to visit in summer, you can do rafting nearby, also organized by the owners.
