Ski Resorts in Seki

Our hosts were so lovely and showed incredible hospitality. The house was beautiful and right in the snow resort with easy walking distance to ski lifts. The hosts were always on call and helped us with every question, even took us to the supermarket each day for supplies. I can not thank them enough. We stayed as a family of 9 and had an incredible time. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked most meals on site. The house provided a BBQ with charcoal for grilling. Each day our hosts filled the private Onsen tub for us to soak in after a big day skiing. Bedrooms were spacious and warm with many bed options. There are several rental shops close by for rental of snowboards, ski's and snow wear. We loved our stay over Christmas 2024 and cant not thank the hosts enough for such a memorable experience. Will definitely stay again!

My stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations. The ski-in & out feature provided unbeatable convenience, directly connecting us to the slopes. Our room was not only comfortable but offered stunning mountain views, making it the perfect retreat. Dining was a treat, with a fantastic breakfast buffet and meals that showcased local flavors. Above all, even the staff communicated through the translator, their exceptional service made us feel genuinely cared for.

Family of 4 pax with 2 children age 5&7. We love our stay very much! Hotel is really near train station, theres free shuttle service too. Hotel is really clean, every guests are required to take off shoes and they even cleaned our luggage wheels upon entering, i love the concept. However the area for us to wear shoes is small hence it can be quite of a hassle when it is crowded. There’s free yukata rental, free drinks at the lobby, popsicle and ramen (within specific time). Hotel has everything we need and we had a great time relaxing. Our room is really spacious with a traditional bath tub my kids enjoyed alot. Kids also have their own separate room to sleep, love this privacy. We went for public bath, private bath, it such a great place to unwind after a day of snow play. The breakfast and dinner kaiseiki spread were sumptuous. It was an excellent stay and we highly recommend anyone to try it! Do remember to book in advance!

I arrived at the closest station at around 8pm and it got so dark. Usually I would take care of myself, but I saw the photo list poster of the criminals at the station and there was just no one on the street. I texted to the owner that I was scared walking to the hotel, then the owner drove to pick me up immediately. I felt very thankful for that. The hotel was comfortable, clean and with a mountain View. There was also an onsen in the shower room. Free tea and coffee in the large dining room, which also have a pretty view. I enjoyed my stay very much.

The people at the resort. All of them were absolutely wonderful - warm, helpful and congenial. Also, the room, the ski-ing and view - Exemplary.

The food at breakfast and dinner was varied and exceptional. All of the dishes I tried I liked , and they had a nice variety of western and Japanese. The room we had was huge and very comfortable. The onsen facilities were excellent, and very well kept. We are skiers and this hotel was very well setup for skiers. They have locker rooms for storage as well as changing, and on checkout day you can leave all your luggage , go ski, come back and change and then leave. But what makes this hotel a standout is the staff. I speak limited Japanese but had no issues communicating with the staff either speaking directly to them or using google translate. They are kind, patient and will do anything to help you. On checkout day, we went skiing and came back at 11:30 and needed to use the courier service taqubin which is conveniently located inside the hotel gift shop. However, we failed to notice beforehand that the shop takes a close break from 11:30 until 3:30 and our train leaves at 3;15. We were very stressed but the lady who runs the store and handles the courier said no problem, she would stay open just for us and give us time to change out of our ski clothes ,repack our ski gear and come back. It took us longer than we thought to repack and change because we had some trouble locating the ski bag as it was behind the counter in long storage. It didn’t matter, she still waited and when we finally finished she patiently helped us with the forms and everything was handled . When we left again for the station we had some time to wait so we purchased some small sweets and went back to give them to the staff as a thank you for all their exceptional efforts and help with our stay . They seemed genuinely surprised and happy and then walked out to wave us goodbye! How nice and a great happy surprise for us! We cannot recommend this hotel enough and we will be back someday.

Ryokan staff is really very helpfull and friendly . We enjoyed so much stayed on this ryokan.
