Sheraton Hotels in Düsseldorf

Everything was unlike German hospitality and more like truly Sheraton and American. Whatever issues we had were resolved immediately to our satisfaction within few minutes of bribing to the notice of reception/front desk.

My flight was cancelled last minute, thus I wanted a good hotel not too far away. Having stayed in the Sheraton Airport before it did not disappoint. Five minutes after booking (via Booking.com) I was able to check in and relax in my room, as the hotel is literally only ~5mins walk from the airport, walking through the carpark. The room was clean, spacious, with blackout curtains and very, very quiet.

I stayed for two nights, in between flight to and from Düsseldorf (like a few times before). The staff was friendly and helpful as always: When there was an issue with the WiFi in my room/area, I got upgraded to another room immediately. Breakfast is good, the rooms are quiet, the beds are great. The bathrooms might need a re-design in the long run. But all in all, the Sheraton is unbeatable for ease of use and location when travelling - and always a rather calming experience during stressful travel.

We regularly use the Düsseldorf Sheraton Airport, so I am biased ... For us it is very convenient, as a place to stay before a red-eye flight the next morning. And the facilities are exactly what we need, with big, comfy beds, quiet rooms with good Wi-Fi, a good restaurant/breakfast bar, and a highly efficient and competent (and friendly) staff. We'll be back.
