The area turns painted in reds and yellows during Fall and offers an incredible view, with the adriatic sea on one side and snowy peaks on the other. Wisteria House is a gem, meticulously crafted in every tiny little detail. Sauna in the garden is a huge plus, to be enjoyed after a nice walk in the surroundings. Most definitely an experience to remember.

Having travelled all over Europe, this is hands down the best apartment I have ever stayed in. It is immaculately clean, has everything you could ever dream of having in an apartment and the hosts are incredibly thoughtful - leaving a plate of meats and fresh bread for my arrival. The outdoor space is huge and very private and there is lots to see, do and walk around, nearby. Amazing value for money too.

I used WhatsApp to communicate with the host and they were welcoming and kind. The free parking and ability to view the beautiful city from the terrace and then walk up in 10min was perfect!

Absolutely stunning apartment. Meticulously cleaned. We were quite tired from our long hot car journey and come to find out, the apartment had a double AC system to nicely cool us off. The garden in the backyard was the icing on the cake. We spent the cool evenings there enjoying some incredible Slovenian beers. 15 minute drive from the Lipica Stud Farm 20 minute walk from Skocjan Caves

The apartment has been renovated in the last couple of months. It was well equipped and comfortable. It is a nice place to stay and relax.

Good communication before arrival, precise instructions to find the place. Host was waiting for us. Friendly, helpful host. We even got farewell gifts! Very well equipped, newly refurbished (or built) apartment, even unusual accessories were available (e.g. sewing kit). Excellent bathroom with shower cabin (our preference), which was not leaking. Bosch washing machine / dryer combo. Many towels (although not the best quality.) Fully equipped kitchen except espresso machine. Bed was spacious, mattress is not too soft. Everything was new and clean. Wonderful garden, very comfortable, big parking place - only for our car. Very good location (by car) to Postojna cave (30m), Skocian cave (8m), Triest (30m), Koper (30m), Ljubljana (50m - if you don't get in traffic jam trap). Also good for visiting Istria. Lokev itself is just a small place but the surrounding environment is very nice. Very quiet.
