We loved our stay at Matakana Luxury, it is the perfect romantic getaway! It was so easy to get to from Auckland and is the most perfect location in the heart of Matakana Village. We wanted to explore the area and it was only 5 mins to Omaha Beach and 15 to Tawharanui regional park. The gorgeous outdoor baths and comfy beds were an amazing bonus! Thanks to the hosts for accommodating the best anniversary weekend ever!

This apartment also comes with a patio that doubles up as an outdoor dining area. I love everything about this apartment and the host. They left little things like chocolates for us to enjoy and there was so much beverages (sachets) and condiments, cooking equipment, etc. It was so clean, comfortable and the host was fantastic. When i thought the induction cooker wasnt working, she told me she would send someone over with another one; so responsive! Our family had a great time cooking steaks and having our meal at the little garden just outside the apartment. The location was also superb; very central! I would highly recommend this location!

Right on the harbour front near to the ferries. Only a 5 min walk to our favourite restaurant Oyster & Chop in the viaduct harbour and the rest of the CBD. The large corner terrace was incredible. Huge in size and perfect for each end of the day!
