Kumara's enthusiasm and friendliness were truly contagious. He went above and beyond his duties, not only ensuring that all my needs were met but also taking the time to share numerous fascinating stories with me. These stories gave me a unique insight into the local culture and made my stay here much more memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top - notch accommodation experience, especially if you want to be greeted by staff who truly care about making your stay unforgettable. So clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains. Washing machine was very useful as well as the fully functional kitchen. Hosts were so lovely and helpful. Would recommend staying here to anyone travelling to Kandy!

It feels as natural as returning to Sri Lanka and visiting Kandy to meet our own relatives. They have made us feel incredibly welcomed and warm over the years whenever Raj and Harissa had the opportunity to host us. The apartment is spacious enough to accommodate six people, and the rooms and bathrooms are better and larger than the images suggest. The amazing breakfast is always something to look forward to. We stayed two nights at Nilu’s and Malsha’s homestay, and it was absolutely amazing. After three weeks of traveling in Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura was our final stop before heading back to Colombo, and both my partner and I agreed that these last two days were the highlight of our trip. Malsha was a fantastic host. She gave us excellent recommendations, prepared fresh and delicious breakfasts, and even did our laundry. We truly felt at home during our stay. The entire family is incredibly sweet and welcoming. They also arranged a guided tour of the ancient city with their friend Kamal, which turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Having done several guided tours during our trip, we can confidently say that this one was the best by far. The value for money here is unbeatable and the location was also exactly what we had in mind. The homestay is situated in a quiet residential area, which we loved, and it’s only a quick 5-minute tuk-tuk ride to the city center. Thank you, Nilu and especially thank you Malsha, for an incredible stay. We highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Anuradhapura!
