We had an absolutely beautiful week at Kobe Mara, in the Masai Mara Conservancy. We stayed in one of their four tents and had the most incredible wildlife roaming in front of our tent or at the water in front of the main house every single day. Sammy, his right hand Jonathan and their team carried us on their hands and made sure our every need was met with a huge smile. We went on games drives in the Masai Mara with rangers Moses & Alex. Their passion for nature and their culture was tangible in the experience and the knowledge they shared priceless. The chef Julius did wonders in the kitchen & the team even surprised us with a cake and little celebration on our final evening. The experiences we have had in the last week is something we will cherish forever. We cannot wait for our next visit.

It sits down a quiet lane but is just a one-minute walk from a small supermarket, and only a five-to-ten-minute drive into Narok town. Just a heads-up: there’s no breakfast provided, so if you want something in the morning you’ll need to pick up supplies or head into town.

Edi the owner is a woman who created this place to empower masai women. She was very hospitable and made us feel very special. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly. She arranged a visit for us to original masai village. Higly recomended. Hearing her stories and meeting the masai people made our visit very special.

I it’s close to the Maasai Mara Reserve and Jacob is more than willing to tell you what activities can be done in the area and even want to accompany you to them.
