The generosity and hospitality and warmth of the family is what makes it so special — I stayed only one night but left with so many wonderful memories. I speak some Arabic, so my particular experience may have been extra special—but I feel like anyone with a heart will feel at home. My day in Dana was honestly the highlight of my time in Jordan—not as flashy as Petra or wadi rum, but absolutely stunning and full of genuine and wonderful people. It is rustic — so if you really need a modern style hotel, this is not your place. But it was cozy and comfortable and warm and wonderful; what more could I hope for?

Rooms are spacious, clean. Kitchen is well equipped if we want to cook our own food. Free car parking is available within the premises. Host explained us about trekking in petra and gave us tips to complete it faster. Went all our to even check with visitor center if shuttle bus is available to take us to little petra and gave us advance information of the Govt 4 wheel vehicle which used to take tourists inside.

You must ask him for tips regarding Petra, so definitely stay there BEFORE going to Petra. His tips totally made our day in Petra, like three times better. All clean, we were served good dinner and breakfast.
