We absolutely loved the atmosphere of this place. Everything was clean and the view from the terrace was amazing. Make sure to catch at least one sunset from there. Also Riko and Vanda were amazing and caring hosts. We would definitelly come back!

I visited 1 night before I went to the Banggai Islands, but I came back for a couple days more after them. There is a seating area inside as well as outside in the shadow and the bed is quite comfortable. There are 2 bathrooms: 1 with a warm shower and 1 with a cold shower, but both bathrooms have a ‘western’ toilet, expect for the flushing. They really make sure you have a nice stay and I really do recommend. The price/quality valua is really really great.

This is a classical homestay very close to the harbour for the ferry to the togian islands. The family here is very nice, helpful and friendly, I immediately felt at home from the first minute. Don't expect luxuries, the rooms and the bathroom are basic, but clean. I think this is a very good choice for budget conscious backpackers! when I'm back in gorontalo i will come again!

James and Rian are very hospitality and caring, you will definitely feel like home. One of Must do list in Toraja will be catting with them, you can truly know new generation thoughts about their culture, quite inspiring ! And if you have any questions, they basically can give you resolutions and recommendations, so helpful ! BTW their English is high level, had good communication! Miss them already and their little cute son ❤️ The room is not luxury but very organic and clean !

The meals themselves, prepared by a team of local women in the well appointed kitchen, are plentiful, varied and delicious. Amanda provides free use of snorkeling equipment and kayaks should you want to go for a paddle. She will also arrange transportation to and from Bunaken Island, as well as snorkeling or diving trips within the Marine Reserve. Her boatman, Peter, has a comfortable boat with shade shelter and a ladder to help get in and out during the trip. Finally, Amanda cares about the community of Bunaken. She has arranged and paid for vaccinations of the local dogs and organised medical treatment for her employees when needed.
