A terrific location, very peaceful with its garden overlooking the beach and the sea. Very scenic surroundings. Secluded from the main road, down a track. Yet only a few minutes drive from the Ferry terminal at Tarbert and with a pleasant walk into the village from the cottage The cottage was cosy and very comfy for relaxing, with two large lounging areas, as well as a dining area, well stocked kitchen and large bedrooms and well stocked games cupboard

Beautifully renovated house, bedrooms, utility room and bathroom downstairs all with plenty of space and the main bedroom with fabulous view out to the bay. Upstairs the kitchen and living room area again with view using a window the width of the room to maximise the effect and light. Velux roof windows too brought in lots of light. Simple stylish furnishings suited it perfectly. Kitchen well equipped with freezer downstairs in utility room, perfect for not disturbing the silence you experience when staying here. Bathroom has large shower cabinet with an excellent shower fitted. Modern heating too, electric thermostat radiators throughout, very cosy at night and in the morning. The enjoyment is a credit to the housekeeper who presented the house immaculately clean and as new on arrival. Location is superb, less than half mile from Tarbert and down a track from the road there is no sound of cars passing and the house is private with a great view over Urgha bay,its idyllic. Excellent communication too from the owner who offers his number should you have any issues. We had a wonderful five nights in Harris and I cannot recommend this house enough, it’s wonderful.

The house was spotless and cozy. We loved the views and the fireplace! I usually get back pain when I sleep flat (on any bed!) and this bed was SO comfortable that it was the best sleep I have ever had on a vacation. Location is great - easy to access lots of trails, downtown Tarbert and Scalpay. We will be back!

SOLACE COTTAGE terletak di Bunavoneader. Rumah percutian ini mempunyai taman dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. Beautiful views over the sea! The cottage has everything you could possibly want. We were also pleasantly surprised by the great welcome basket waiting for us, thank you Caroline! There were even binoculars for spotting wildlife. Supermarket close by, although we did most shopping in Stornoway. We had a great time! After we left I found out I forgot something very special to me and Caroline arranged to send it back to me without delay: again many thanks here!
