Beautiful house on Elefantine Island. Everything brand new and of good quality. Host Abu picked us up on arrival, organised a free sunset tour (just tip the guide at the end). We also booked transportation to Abu Simbel and Luxor at a very reasonable price through Abu, in very comfortable cars. We were able to use the washing machine for free, there is an equipped kitchen to use. Food is very tasty. Beautiful rooftop restaurant.

The room is so clean and the view from the terrace is amazing. I stayed at the hotel in June and it was so hot outside, but the air conditioner worked very well and I could stay at the hotel very comfortably. At night, you may feel that it’s a little bit hot even inside of the room, but you do not have to worry about it. After midnight, thanks to the air conditioner, the room becomes very cool and very confortable.

The guesthouse has a beautiful view of the Nile, with an amazing rooftop terrace. The atmosphere made us feel completely at home. Uncle Mahmoud, the owner, is such a classy and kind person—he welcomed us with fresh guava juice and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He arranged a reasonably priced taxi for a full day to visit the monuments and even offers boat tours on the Nile at fair prices. The kitchen is available if you want to cook, and it’s easy to cross to the city center for just 10 Egyptian pounds. On the day of our departure, Uncle Mahmoud woke up early to help with our luggage and sent someone with us to ensure everything went smoothly. These are genuine, honest, and wonderful people. We can’t recommend this place enough!

We planned to stay one night in Abu Simbel and we ended staying two! the village is very relaxing, quite, good food and the people are beautiful. The light show at Abu Simbel temple is amazing and unforgettable. Ramadan can also organise a boat trip if you want, he is an amazing host and guide, he helps you with anything you need and want to do. We received free transportation to the temple and he also helped us to get a private ride to Aswan in a a very good price. The apartment is very comfortable and clean, the bed and pillows too. It is a shame so many tours just come to see the temples for the morning before returning to Aswan, as they miss out the wonderful, calm atmosphere here. We highly recommend to stay here! NiLe ViEW RANA NUbian Guest HOUES mempunyai lounge berkongsi, teres, restoran dan bar di Aswan. The owners went above and beyond, from meeting us as we got off the boat, to organising breakfast, laundry, a fascinating walk around the island to learn about Nubian culture, very fairly priced transport to Abu Simbel, a tour of sites and temples around Aswan, and even high tea at the Old Cataract Hotel with the best table and a perfect sunset view. The accommodation itself was simple but clean, with fans and good AC. As we had booked both rooms, it meant we had the kitchen and living room completely to ourselves, as well as the outdoor terrace which looks directly onto the Nile. It was a nice spot to catch sunrise in the morning or hang out in the evening. Elephantine island is a great base for Aswan - it's quiet with no cars or hassle, but the small boats to the mainland run all day and night and only take a few minutes if you do need to get across. It felt so different to anywhere else that we stayed in Egypt and I would definitely stay here again.
