The apartment was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony with stunning views of the valley and mountains. The location is perfect for exploring Santo Antão’s incredible hiking trails, and the hosts were amazing—so welcoming and helpful with tips on what to do and where to eat. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and feels like home. If you’re heading to Paul, this is the place to stay. Can’t recommend it enough!

Great place, feels like home. Rother high-end, but worth the money. You’ll find everything you need and maybe things you hadn’t thought of for a journey to Santo Antão. Nicely situated as well. And the ocean view is spectacular.

The host was very helpful and let us check in straight away in the morning. The facilities are new, clean and there is a washing machine, kitchen etc. We also asked the host if she could provide beach towels and she did which was really helpful. Local shops and restaurants are nearby. Taxi from the port is only 200 escudos (2 euros). The only thing I would say is the taxi drivers/tours struggle to find it just with the adress so would be good to add some more info as to where it is located.

We were met by Lieve at the Ferry Terminal, she arranged a rental car and guided us to the villa (10 minutes from the Ferry Terminal). Lieve and Geert went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possibe. The Villa has been built by them with an eye for detail. The villa is very spacious, 3 spacious bedrooms, each with a toilet/bath room, in two of these rooms next to the double beds bunkbeds for two kids. In living room an additional seperate toilet on top. Also a spacious kitchen with everything you need. The swimming pool is covered every evening so it stays warm (28 Celsius). Very important in winter months, we were at some other places where swimming was only for the brave (24 C) or even unbarable (20 C).
