We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in the heart of Basel’s Old Town. The location is perfect, within walking distance of key attractions. The apartment was clean, well-maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The small kitchen was especially useful for preparing breakfast, as most restaurants in the area open later in the day. A special highlight was watching squirrels from the balcony, which made our mornings even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Basel!

Fantastic facilities, we liked the layout, it worked well for our family group and the apartment had everything we needed. Good location. Very clean and well appointed. Great communication, instructions and follow up from the hosts. Their kindness showed in the little extras throughout the apartment and we would happily stay here again.

What a wonderful surprise to have discovered B&B Stirnimann for our two night stay while touring Switzerland. The area is peaceful and lovely and the stay was everything we could ever want and more. Our hosts offered us a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The accommodations were not just clean but absolutely spotless and our room was cozy, spacious and very comfortable. We were allowed to use the full kitchen and living room and porch in addition to our room and that was such a treat for us on our long trip. The best part you ask? The best part was Hedi our host who we instantly adored. She is a gracious, funny, kind and friendly force of nature who made sure we were comfortable, offered touring and local information and provided us with a full delicious breakfast. There are some people and places that enhance a trip in special ways that you know you will never forget. Staying at B&B Stirnimann and meeting Hedi will hold a special place in our memory and we hope to return someday.

The place was overall comfortable and crossed my expectations. I checked-in very late around 9:30p.m. & I would not recommend it as the street lights are not enough and It was difficult for me to identify the place. If you reach before sunset, it is indeed an amazing stay. The host is very humble and welcoming.
