Breakfast was wonderful, Fresh Fruitsalad, Nice Bread, Eggs & Bacon, everything you could want and more, We even got homemade Jam. The Landlords are very friendly and Professional at the same time. So many good things. 1) The place is sweet, homey, clean, cozy (burning woodfire when we arrived in the cold afternoon)--a historic old building with modern updates/renovation. Lots of room. Two floors. 2) All the best values of this unique place, Geel, are embodied in the beautiful host Sophie. Our meeting conversation with her was one of the highlights of a month of travels for me, maybe the best moment of the trip. Very kind hosting--hospitality in the most real and deep sense. Plus: Sophie's husband Paul is a legendary cyclist (hence the name, Velo --94 is the year he won the Cyclo-Cross World Championship)--so cyclists, check it out!

Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Diane is so lovely, the kindest lady. She helped me with anything I needed, very friendly and welcoming. The house is beautiful, and in a very quiet area. It’s very peaceful. The house is very clean, with great amenities. I was very happy and comfortable here. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to the area! There is a supermarket (10 minute walk) and bus stop into Herentals close by, great location. Would definitely recommend!
