Whitsunday Sands Resort is uniquely located on its own private peninsula, by the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef. It offers all guests private access to 2 separate, magnificent beaches. On the eastern side of the resort is Horseshoe Bay, rated as one of the best beaches in Australia, while on the western side is the picturesque Greys Bay. You can enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset over the water on the main land, from the resort. Quiet, comfortable, very clean, the room has a well designed space/outlay, easy parking, great balcony with ocean view. The shower has fantastic water pressure, really comfortable bed. Everything you look for in a hotel this place delivers in spades. Good cafe and beaches all within walking distance.

The communication prior to our stay was great with Simon suggesting trips etc. the check in process was really straight forward and again Simon suggested restaurants and things to do, these were also summarised on a sheet inside the apartment. Everyone one of Simon's recommendations was fantastic! The apartment itself is stunning. So clean and modern, it felt like a real treat to stay there! It's fully equipped with everything you need, including pool towels. We enjoyed it so much we got takeout some nights for dinner instead of going out! The pool is great too!

This is a very unique home tucked away on a hill on the edge of the forest. It has amazing decks, hidden paths, beautiful wood details, hot tub, a nice host and dog…

All cabins feature a balcony to relax on and enjoy the peaceful surroundings as well as a kitchenette with a microwave, toaster and kettle and a private bathroom with shower. Also included in all cabins is a flat-screen TV with Netflix, air-conditioning, safety deposit box and ironing facilities. Absolutely loved the cabin. We have been travelling for nearly 3 months and this was the nicest place we have stayed. The hosts have thought of everything and clearly went above and beyond. There was , prosecco in the fridge, a really helpful guide written out and just generally a beautiful place to stay amongst nature.

The view and the accommodations were spectacular. Washer & dryer in 2nd bath. Gourmet kitchen. Very large balcony. Nicely decorated. Great artwork. Chinese restaurant in the building. Securred garage in basement included. Staff were great.

Very friendly host. It has a fantastic water view.

This air-conditioned villa features 4 bedrooms, each with a private en suite bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. The lounge area includes a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. The location is great, the pool was amazing, the property was exactly what we needed for 2 families with 8 people. We love buggy rides around the island and this one was fast
