The owners have thought of everything for their guests comfort. The cottage looks deceptively small outside but is amazing inside. The panoramic windows in the living room have incredible views down the valley. Although it is in a fairly remote location(the nearest town is 20 minutes away), it is just off the main ring road around Iceland. Don’t be worried about road noise. The road is not that busy and you can’t hear a thing inside the house. The kitchen is fully equipped - there’s even a dishwasher. There are other accommodations on the property but nobody bothered us.

I was having a hard time deciding on what to book when in the area, and i'm extremelly happy i booked my night here. First i was greeted by this beautiful dog ad then i met the owner! Very nice, wellcoming and happy host. Cabins are beautiful and super cozy! Amazing views to the mountains and the fields around! If you need any assistance the owners live close by. Kitchen is well equiped. Very clean, confortable beds and nice shower. There is an area outisde where you can sit and drink a coffee or wait for the northern lights. It's a great spot to catch the auroras! Varmahlíð is closed by and you cab do shopping there or order some food. There are 2 petrol stations here. Will definitely come back next time i'm in the area. Loved the piece and quiet of the place! Thank you!

Beautiful cottage! It has everything you need for your stay. The bed was comfortable, and the cottage was very spacious. There was also a hot tub outside, which was lovely! We loved our stay there!

Host was friendly and gave us all the information we needed. Apartment was great big and there were literally everything we needed. Hope we could have stayed there longer and we will go back for sure. Host had horses and a lovely dog :) In the room were instuctions how to get to near Reykjafoss waterfall and Fosslaug hot spring. We went there in the evening, it was dark but we had a headlamp. We sat in the hot spring for half an hour with only stars above us - it was magical. We got back there in the morning and took some pictures, the landscape were so beautiful. This place was just perfect.

Apartment was perfect for our group of 4. It has all the facilities, including a dish washer, washing and drying machine, a lot of kitchen cooking stuff! The hot tub was just perfect for us after days of hiking and sleeping in a tent.
