Beds were comfortable. The hotel had not received the notice from Booking.com, therefore our rooms were not booked. They apologized profusely and gave us a rollaway bed for free since one of our rooms had one bed only for 1 adult and two children. My husband was extremely grumpy during our stay.

Breakfast was good but could've used COLD yogurt. The yogurt was warm the day I decided to try it...no ice...plus no plain yogurt option but there were plenty of other options to choose from. The eggs were nice. The fruit was ripe and fresh!

Pros- Beautiful, historical, lots of stuff to do, lots of attractions. There is a fun "downtown" area full of bars and restaurants. There is a new casino too. Everything is within walking distance and if it's not, there were lots of Uber and lyfts.
Cons- Lots of homeless people living on the streets and sleeping in tents.

Super cute and welcoming city.
Super cute and welcoming city. I had the good fortune to meet a new friend who essentially played historian and tour guide during my stay. The food was good, the people were friendly, and I would’ve liked a few more days.

I love Louisville…. Have great friends there. Spent NYE watching Marr Rife at the Louisville Palace which was a blast. Did not like our stay though. It wasn’t the worst by far but from its rating I expected more/better.

We grabbed a drink on Whiskey Row.
We grabbed a drink on Whiskey Row. Great view of the street from an open balcony at Number 15. We had dinner at La Bodeguita De Mima Cuban Restaurant and Rum Bar. The atmosphere was great and the food was amazing. I highly recommend. Then we shopped at the Red Door just 2 doors down from the restaurant. We went to a show at the Palace Theatre. This place is beautiful. Our hotel offered a shuttle so we didn't have to find parking at the restaurant or down town. Our hotel was just a short walk to the Palace.
the best place to stay in Louisville. you can’t beat the price most times unless it’s peak times…but the staff is absolutely THE best part of this hotel. i stay here a lot for work. they are always accommodating and friendly. I tell everyone about this place. They accommodated us well this night when we had a group of people. Candise who works the front desk has the best personality and I am glad when I see a familiar face when I check in! she truly deserves a raise!
Decor is cute and vibey, coffee shop on site made mornings easy (with good coffee), hotel was quiet (and I'm a light sleeper), total blackout curtains, elevators were easy, shower had very good water pressure, and the room was spacious. We didn't partake in the mini fridge but I appreciated the reasonably priced and large options. Location was also good and we were able to park on the side streets without paying.
For $198 for the weekend in Louisville was a steal. It was a good hotel for the price. You get what you paid for. Breakfast was ok. Waffles, cereal, toast, fruit and yogurt. Thats about it. It was in a very good location right outside of downtown. I would say the uppity side. The rooms are big so was the pool. If your trying to save some money this is the hotel.
This was a very nice hotel for the price I got on booking.com. Went to see Louisville zoo and KY Kingdom that are minutes away. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Pool was clean and easy to get to. My grandaughter loved it. Breakfast was good. Much better than the pricey hotel I got in Folly beach even. Airport nearby but it didn't effect our sleep at all.
We loved how clean and spacious the room was. Checking in and out was easy having used Booking.com. The location was good - we walked to great spots nearby for drinks at the Michter bourbon distillery, dinner at Mussels and Burgers, and activities (Louisville Slugger Museum, art gallery in the 21c Museum and Hotel).
Um the list is too long to post everything but I must say the room was awesome great views and just a real modern feel and look and a huge shout out to Justin Weeks the GM! As far as I'm concerned there is no other hotels in Louisville! If your not staying at the Moxy, are you really on vacation?
What a treat. I loved this hotel. So big and in the heart of Louisville. It was so happening in the area! Gorgeous throughout. Classy and less than $200. The view from our room was spectacular and the room was clean. Loved everything about my stay there!
The hotel and staff were excellent. I called back regarding a lost set of keys and staff took the time to check our room for the keys no were more than happy to do it. we will spend the night with you all on our next trip to Louisville.
I was only staying over for the night so the price was very favorable and cheap. The hotel is located right off the bypass with 2 convient stores, Waffle House, and McDonald's within walking distance .
Great location - right by the river and very convenient walk to many restaurants and venues in the area. The hotel itself had a nice bar, taco restaurant, and nice gym.
We had an amazing stay at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. The overall experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area.
