A vibrant bustling, noisy city with much to see and enjoy.
A vibrant bustling, noisy city with much to see and enjoy. Some very decent restaurants and the city is easy to get around thanks to the thousands of tuk tuks and cycle rickshaw. Beware the traffic jams though! And to get away from the noise take a trip to the tranquil botanical gardens.

Dhaka!
Traffic has eased slightly from earlier, as several new flyovers have been commissioned.
Expressways are open, Metrorail services are running, but noise pollution remains the same

As a native of this bustling city, Dhaka's charm lies in its unapologetic chaos. For those unfamiliar, the initial encounter with the city's bustling streets and animated markets might be perplexing. However, once you acclimate to the rhythm of Dhaka, you'll find an unparalleled vibrancy that outshines the orderliness of more structured cities worldwide.
Dhaka is a haven for those who thrive in the midst of disorder, a realm where unpredictability fuels an exhilarating experience. It's not a destination for those seeking spoon-feeding or stringent organization. Instead, it beckons to those who revel in the unexpected, offering a unique tapestry of culture, commerce, and commotion. In Dhaka, chaos isn't a flaw but a defining feature, making it a must-visit for those who dare to embrace the unpredictable and find beauty in the midst of disorder.
One undeniable allure of Dhaka for visitors from around the globe is the remarkably affordable cost of living. In this vibrant city, most individuals will find that things are not just reasonably priced but extraordinarily cheap. Whether it's indulging in local cuisine, navigating the bustling markets, or exploring the rich tapestry of cultural experiences, Dhaka caters to budget-conscious travelers, providing an opportunity to stretch your dollar further than in many other destinations.
From street food to transportation, the city's affordability opens doors for exploration without breaking the bank. For those seeking an adventure without a hefty price tag, Dhaka stands out as a budget traveler's paradise, offering an array of experiences that won't dent your wallet.

Given that the average income in Bangladesh is significantly lower than Western standards, it's challenging for the typical person to cover their expenses. Bangladeshi people are generally hardworking and, for the most part, very honest. However, when interacting with small shop owners, especially when dealing with foreigners, they may occasionally inflate their prices. This practice isn't common in larger stores or malls.
I've developed a deep appreciation for the people of Bangladesh, particularly those in the villages compared to those in the cities. There are truly beautiful sights to behold in this country as well.

Dhaka is the captial of Bangladesh with 40 million populations. There is alwasy the traffice on the road, no matter whenever it is. Passengers and vehicles are crowded over the road. Living cost is bit high since the grocery price is high compared to the GDP, but hotel room rate is okay.

Dhaka is a vibrant and bustling city with a rich history and culture. From the colorful rickshaws to the aromatic street food, there's always something to discover in this city. The people are friendly and welcoming, and the architecture is a mix of old and new styles. However, the traffic in Dhaka can be overwhelming, and pollution is a major issue. If you can handle the chaos, it's definitely worth exploring the many museums, markets, and historic sites that this city has to offer. Overall, Dhaka is a unique and fascinating city that is sure to leave a lasting impression on any visitor.
The location of the property was very convenient. It is just 0.5 km away for Kamalapur rail station, which is the main rail station of Dhaka. The hotel is having a restaurant at the top floor, which serves delicious food. The 'Doi-ilish', which was served to us, was the best Hilsa preparation I ever had in my life. One can enjoy a good view of Dhaka city from the restaurant. The behaviour of hotel staffs were very pleasant. They all were co-operative. On the day of Departure, they prepared breakfast for us even in very early morning.
nice location, quite area close to busy streets in Dhaka. hotel with the necessary comfort, good wifi, silent. restaurant is good even if you have to wait a bit, it offers good food Indian / EU etc. breakfast is in line with many hotel in the area. at walking distance there are many options , many choices and even some supermarkets.
room was ok, with a/c remote control so you can adjust by yourself, which is a good choice somehow. room size is ok. all considered at the cost it is, it is a great deal. hotel entrace is safe.
Our go to hotel when in Dhaka for business. We always look forward to staying here. Super friendly and professional staff.
Rooms are a good size with everything you should need. Clean and comfortable.
Restaurant great food selection to suit all tastes. Excellent location not too far from the airport and we used the hotels chauffeur service to pick us up and return back ( no issues )
Always lovely to be greeted with a warm welcome here and valued as returning guests.
The hotel is brand new property & located in the heart of the city. Mr. Manas Chandra Pal is the GEM of the property. He helped us lot as it was a corporate booking. Special Thanks for his cordial & kind support which makes our stay more pleasant. Front Desk officers are also very kind, polite & customer friendly. Hotel is operated by Bangladesh Air Force Welfare Association therefore it is very safe for any guest.
Hey! So, I recently stayed at this amazing hotel called "Appayan Guest House Baridhara" in Dhaka. 🌞🏨 The overall experience was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the room was spotless. 🌟 The location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby locations. Overall, I highly recommend "Appayan Guest House Baridhara" for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Dhaka! 😄👍
I liked the location of the hotel as it is located in the most secured place in Dhaka which in Baridhara Diplomatic Zone. The service was exceptionally good compare to it's price. Also the quality anf the quantity of the breakfast was quite impressive.
Friendly, helpful staff - Masud, Dipta, Simon, Biplob - combined with a comfortable, well appointed room (try not to stay in the ‘older rooms, not as good) made Hotel 71 an excellent place to stay. This will be where I stay when I come back to Dhaka
I highly recommend Hotel Afford Inn to visitor of Dhaka. Food was great and the staff was very friendly. The reception staff was helpful and kind. I only stayed for a short time but I would definitely come back the next time I visit Dhaka.
The hotel's location next to Dhaka Airport was great, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was good too, and I couldn't think of anything to improve. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
all staffs were really welcoming… starting from hotel guard, receptionist, housekeeping, everyone was welcoming with smile.
location was great, lot of restaurants near by. Bangladeshi as well as international food available nearby
Affordable hotel, with all needed necessities. Great staff. Minimal noise as hotel location is not on the main streets/boulevard in Banani district in Dhaka. Rooms are cleaned daily. Laundry services are also done properly.
staff extremely nice and helpful, good breakfast. The location of the hotel is central thus fully merged with Dhaka congestions, but luckly a bit aside of the main street therefore the area is quite enough
The hotel has fantastic facilities. It is very new and spacious. The quality of the food is great and the level of service is high. If I go back to Dhaka I will definitely try to go back.
The hotel is amazing and the stuff Mr mohamed monier and the other receptionist are very helpful and friendly and the hotel located in gulshan area its one of the best places in dhaka
