We enjoyed a 2 night stay in Renvyle House for my husband's 60th birthday..From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and comfortable in the beautiful surroundings despite the rain showers. We enjoyed the delicious 5 course meal on the first night and the staff were so nice, they even sang Happy Birthday and presented a small cake with a candle to my hubby..The second night we had the bar menu and that was also delicious. We will be back again for sure, thank you Renvyle House staff.

This village is too remote with no cafes/restaurants or taxi service. It used to have cafe and taxis but not any more. It has a good petrol station and shop. We travelled to Letterfrack/Clifden/Roundstone and Cleggan beaches incredible food lovely would definitely stay in 1 of these villages in future.

Very quiet and peaceful area. Hiking is spectacular . Easy to drive around the area , roads are narrow and drive on the left , but the country roads are quiet , more sheep than anything on them ! And always give way to sheep :) Everyone was friendly and helpful . Loved this beautiful area and exploring Connemara National Park.

Renvyle beach is one of my favourites in Ireland.

Renvyle beach is one of my favourites in Ireland. Due to its remote location in Connemara it's never going to be crowded, so it's a very peaceful, scenic place to spend time there. If the weather is good, try it!

tony and wife were very nice and friendly. the property was in a beautiful setting in a very small village in their house. the room was large with 2 comfortable chairs and the hosts were very accommodating with water and little treats. the breakfast was included, very good, and plentiful with lots of options. dinner at the hotel was very good too. basically the village is a small pub, hotel and not much else open. quaint pretty setting. Connemara area is beautiful and if weather permits much outside to do and see.

Breakfast was over in the hotel and was absolutely beautiful- compliments to the chef! Id two 13yr old twins! They loved pancakes, omelette and we had porridge and scrambled eggs! We had meal & drinks in the hotel- absolutely 💯. Plus, the location is absolutely beautiful- Glassilaun beach is the best in this country! Just loved our visit and we will be back!

What is there not to like about Renvyle. Firstly the location is incredible, close to the Atlantic Way and in the most scenic part of Connemeara. The hotel is excellent with comfy clean rooms , excellent food and drink and incredible staff. The whole experience from start to end is super and no request is too much for the management and staff to deal with. We had both bar food and ate in the Restaurant and both are excellent.

Location! This B&B was right in the center of the village of the friends we were visiting. It was convenient and very comfortable. Breakfast was provided at the local Maol Reidh Hotel as the owners are the same. Exceptionally delicious! We found our stay extremely comfortable. Our host and hostess were very friendly and accommodating.

Great location, looking accross the bay. Very cosy bedroom, fantastic breakfast sitting beside a lovely open fire. John is a great host, would highly recommend to my friends. Feels like a mini hotel, but with a very homely Irish old world atmosphere. I will use it as a base again when travelling to Connamara.

I am rating because Booking keeps asking me. We did not end up staying in the Hut, but in the owners Hotel Moah Reidh. The Hut had a heating issue so the owner kindly put us in his hotel. SUPER nice guy, great sense of humor...we really enjoyed our stay.

Due to an issue with a water leak, we were unable to stay in the accommodation we had booked. Helpfully, the host also owned a local 3* hotel just up the road and he arranged for us to have a room there and included breakfast !
