Very nice place to stay at.
Very nice place to stay at. People are friendly and locals is there to help you if you are lost or need help. almost all restaurants are awesome. BUT, do not go the grill called "La nevasta Mofturosa" close to Belvedere. It is a total disaster with chef cannot cook and being ruud if you complain about food being total mess! He screams and threatnes with police if you don´t pay for food you tasted and find uneatible....... So a big WARNING for this scam place! Otherwise Mangalia is a great place to be!

Very friendly to families with children. No clubs, no loud music, no teenagers. Excellent place to stay and enjoy family time. Not so expensive as other areas (e.g. Mamaia). No stress, no rush. Not so many people.

It's very good for a family excursion, or just for a weekend evade. The harbour is nice, you can take on a boat trip on the sea or the Danube. Nice coast alley for walks. Small and cute place. If it’s sunny I could stay there for a week, but since it was cloudy it became a bit boring. Nothing much to do. None of the restaurants had English menu, so that made eating out a bit hassle.MariaNorway - 10Scored 10
Mangalia, port at the Balck Sea, is a nice city which looks...
Mangalia, port at the Balck Sea, is a nice city which looks better and better. Has a very nice promenade, which connects it with the other resorts Saturn, Venus etc. There are a lot of hotels, cafes and restaurants for all budgets. You can arrive there by train or by car. In august it used to be held a music festival there, namely Callatis Festival, which was one of the largests music and culture festival held in Romania. The festival was held on a barge that is docked at Mangalia Marina. Mangalia is very close to 2 Mai and Vama Veche resorts (only 10 km).

We've been here many Times, always the superior double room, this is the only hotel we've ever came back to, we made it a tradition we hope we can keep. Particularly lovely in the fall, winter and spring, when the leaves fall you have a full view of the sea in all its glory. Spring and fall is lovely if you can stay outside in the garden. Breakfast is great, the garden is great, the staff have always been very nice and accommodating.

The front yard shrubs are nicely maintained. We liked the little playground where our kid could play while we enjoyed a coffee and beer. The bar does not have too many food choices but it's alright for some drinks. They had a movie night too. Rooms have AC. Balcony with sea view is definitely worth it.

You will have a room with a fully day shadow and cooler room. No AC needed. Best rooms. First choice was a four stars hotel next to this one, but the rooms wasn't available at the booking time.
