All services — at a top notch. Great choice for a few days relax from Tokyo hype.

The location, ambiance, rooms, onsen, and food were all excellent. I would recommend this stay for anyone who wants close access to Shirakawago. We had our own car, though it seems you could also utilize their shuttle service with some advanced planning.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. This place was amazing! You stepped into a quiet, calm sanctuary. Room was very comfortable. The staff was super kind and helpful! A small but very intimate onsen helps you relax. Bed was comfortable. And the traditional japanese breakfast was amazing! I would come back again! And hopefully I shall! ありがとうございます

Terletak hanya 2 minit berjalan kaki dari Stesen Takayama, Oyado Koto No Yume menawarkan bilik-bilik gaya Jepun dengan sentuhan berwarna-warni. Location was amazing- walking distance from the station and from the old town. The place was beautiful, and the rooms had everything. Futons were very comfy. The onsen was the best I tried so far (but I haven’t tried a lot). We did the private bath, and it was really nice. They also lend you yukatas to wear around the ryokan. And the staff were very friendly, hospitable and helpful!

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. Amazing tatami room overlooking the river. Good individual fridge and toilet. Well equipped kitchen. Amazing common rooms. Really a great place to stay at a good price. Helpful and kind staff, really. Great location.

Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. Excellent: beautiful location, amazing staff, great service and excellent facilities. Definitely our best stay in Japan. No low prices, but certainly worth it!

Terletak di Shimoda, 33km dari Tanjung Koibito Misaki, 横川温泉湯殿ととのゆ mempunyai penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma dan lounge berkongsi. The location was perfect for getting away from the busy streets of Tokyo, though I highly recommend renting a (small!) car to get here, as it is tucked away from public trsnsportation routes. Our room was clean, surprisingly well equipped and comfortable. Service was spot on, communication with our host was easy and quick. We never saw any of the staff though, which made the quality of service just that much more impressive. We were the only guests staying here at the time, so we had all facilities to ourselves (an introvert's dream). There were plenty of instructions in english for all the general how-tos, check-in and check-out was easy using the machine. Prepare to face some bugs around the area, we had a few interesting encounters with moths by the entrance. The room itself was equipped with bugspray and deterrents, though we didn't need them as our room was perfectly wildlife free. The bug screen in the private onsen kept the bugs at bay, allowing us to bathe and sleep while enjoying the sounds and smells of the surrounding nature!

Mempunyai penginapan 4-bintang, Syukaen Yunohanazen terletak di Atami, 14-minit berjalan kaki dari Pantai Atami Sun dan 27km dari Stesen Hakone-Yumoto. There's a lot of food for everyone, even for kids. And the food is very delicious. Room is comfortable, shuttle is convenient.
