The ryokan was by far one of the high points of our trip. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, explaining everything in nearly perfect english. The ryokan also has a private bath that I was able to experience with my wife. The location is beautiful and calm, and I recommend waking up early and climbing the stairs to temple.

Kotono yado Musashino offers accommodation in Nara, and is located a 11-minute drive from Nara Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line. very competent and helpful staff. It really felt authentic

Offering public baths, Sarusawaike Yoshidaya is situated in front of Sarusawa-ike Pond. Kofuku-ji Temple is just a 2-minute walk away. Free WiFi is available on site. The front desk staff were SUPERIOR, the room was beyond our expectations. Located in the heart of NARA, it was a short walk to all of the attractions and downtown shopping/restaurant area. I can't say enough about the superior level of customer care we experienced and wish I could remember her name to give her credit directly.

The accommodation facility of Gyokuzoin Temple features a hot public bath. The hotel is located in Mount Shigisan and houses a souvenir shop and drinks vending machines. Beatiful temples and architecture. The food was delicious and traditional.

Hotel New Wakasa berjarak 12 minit berjalan kaki dari Stesen Kereta Api Kintetsu Nara. Ia menawarkan bilik-bilik gaya Jepun dengan lantai tatami (tenunan jerami). The location was splendid and the staff were very accommodating

Tsukihitei terletak di Hutan Primeval Kasugayama, tapak Warisan Dunia UNESCO. All of it. The location in the woods is special - where else do you get to watch a bunch of flying squirrels scamper through the trees while you head to dinner? Relaxing in one of the private baths after a busy day pounding the pavement. The meals (breakfast and dinner) were sumptuous. We have travelled extensively and stayed in many amazing and interesting places - this one is near the very top of the list. For those looking for something truly different from your standard luxury hotel chain experience, this is it!

Welcoming and friendly staff. Super clean, wonderful surroundings, so many beautiful touches. Fresh flowers! .The Onsen was great. Breakfast was magnificent. Brilliant location in Nara. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, super clean. Nice toiletries. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much to everyone at Ryokan Asukasou.
