Centrally located in Prince Albert village, Prince Albert Country Stay is set in old Karoo buildings and features a garden and outdoor swimming pool. The property is perfectly located in central Prince Albert. The rooms are spacious, meticulously clean, comfortable beds with electric blankets (very welcome on cold Karoo nights!), heated towel rails in the bathrooms. And we loved the special touches. A welcome homemade lemonade on arrival. Delicious breakfast in the beautiful garden. And a bag of homegrown lemons on departure. Wonderful hosts Colleen and William along with Charmin in the kitchen made us feel perfectly at home.

Ko Ka Tsara Bush Camp is set in the Nuweveld Mountains of the Great Karoo, 8 km from Beaufort West. The game farm hosts a variety of game species such as Giraffe, Kudu and Wildebeest. Great place off the road , but you don’t need a high clearance car - chalets are great - all you need is there - you can book fresh meat etc for a braaii the evening - perfect - deer and giraffes on the premisis

Lemoenfontein Game Lodge is situated within 9km from Beaufort West, this homestead boasts panoramic views of the Karoo landscape. It features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. Room was very comfortable, meals were very nice, all of the staff were excellent

The Lord Milner Hotel is situated in the historic village of Matjiesfontein in the Karoo region, just of the N1 highway. This Victorian style hotel features a garden and restaurant. The dinner and breakfast was superb!!!

Situated in the heart of the Great-Karoo and just off the N1 National Road, Die Herehuis in Beaufort West offers en-suite rooms, a garden and outdoor pool. An INCREDIBLE stay! You MUST stay here when in the area and MUST have their dinner. The Lamb was the best! The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. We felt very relaxed and at ease. Our family of 6 enjoyed the well-landscaped ground, cool pool, surrounding area for a glass of wine. We had the dinner and were stuffed to the brim with delicacies. You will love it! We slept very well! We also had a perfect breakfast, homemade breads and anything you like to order. I would highly recommend!

Offering a saltwater pool, Haus Holzapfel is located in Beaufort West, 6 km from the Karoo National Park. Free Wi-Fi access and private parking is available. Our stay at Haus Holzapfel was brief, only booked for one night, en route to Cape Town, so it was suitable as a halfway stop for the night. The location was good, a short drive from the main road, the facilities were well maintained overall, and the check-in was remotely done, smooth and straightforward. The rooms were good, and slept well. Would definitely recommend to those who need good accommodation for either spending time in the area or just passing by.
