Situated within the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg World Heritage Site, this 4-star hotel is surrounded by gardens and overlooks the Drakenberg Mountains. Absolutely our favourite stay in South Africa! Quiet, peaceful with the best views on the mountains! And all the hiking routes available are wonderful! We had great food, the staff are friendly and the cats are very friendly as well.

Located close to Bergville, Dalmore Guest Farm offers accommodation with an outdoor pool and water sports facilities. Complimentary WiFi is provided. We were en route to a location in the Free state and chose Dalmore for it's location. Well what a wonderful experience! We had no idea how lovely this place was. Dylese was so attentive and lovely as our host. The staff were lovely. The food was an absolute delight, with the chef personally seeing to our needs in the dining room. Lovely comfortable surroundings to include a swimming pool. The accommodation was extremely comfortable. We ended up staying a second night on our return from the Free State, as we enjoyed it so much. I would highly recommend Dalmore to all my friends. Big thanks to all the staff for making our stay so comfortable and welcoming.

Located on the foothills of the Southern Drakensberg, Lake Naverone Holiday Cottages is set on large estate with 2 lakes and 7 km of river frontage. Staff were very friendly. Really good value.

Rawdons Hotel & Brewery mempunyai kolam renang luaran, ruang tamu berkongsi, bar dan kemudahan sukan air di Nottingham Road. As always Rawdons didn't disappoint! Cozy, peaceful and Nostalgic. The food was absolutely delicious and portions are extra generous. Staff are attentive and helpful.

Cayley Mountain Resort offers accommodation in Bergview, set in the central Drakensberg with views over the Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle ranges. Stayed with family of 10 in 5 Bedroom manor. It is a beautiful home in the mountains. Large dining and lounge area with deck overlooking mountains and hot water splash pool. Very well furnished and designed en suite rooms. Very private with Air conditions and fireplace. Have vacationed extensively in the berg with family. This was by far the most comfortable and memorable. The last few kilometres to resort was a bit challenging however if you drive carefully it’s manageable. All the staff were excellent. Congratulations to management.
