View over the lake. Hosts were were very kind! The lodge has a really nivce livingroom in which you can relax. We has a super nice room with a view on the lake. Host Marc tiold us a lot about history of the really old lodge! This is an unqique place which we will try to visit again once!

The person who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful and pointed out parking options. Also, there was free cocoa (hot chocolate) available 24 hrs., which was a nice treat after driving all day in cold, windy, rainy weather. Close to the world-famous rock bridge.

The property is in the perfect location when staying in Sweden's sunny city! We stayed in the double room with lake view. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and had a luxurious feel to it. The view of the river Klarälven was stunning. The buffet breakfast was delicious and there were many options to choose from! It is central and close to most of the attractions in Karlstad! I highly recommend this hotel.

Clarion Collection Hotel Drott lies directly opposite Karlstad Central Station. There is free sauna and hot tub access. Everything - location, staff, cleanliness, decor, and food. This was just a one night stop over for us and it was perfect from the minute we walked into the hotel & were greeted by staff. Our room rate included a dinner buffet and breakfast- both had items we appreciated. What a lovely stay!

Home Hotel Bilan is housed in a former county prison, 50 metres from Drottninggatan shopping street in Karlstad. It offers a private prison museum and rooms with free WiFi. Fika, evening and breakfast are fantastic. Parking is available.

I booked really last minute and off season. Nevertheless Lena responded very quick and had prepared a huge breakfest with homemade applejuice. It was great and certainly on my next voyage i will come back!!
