Grand Hôtel Stockholm is situated on the waterfront opposite the Royal Palace and the Old Town, 1 km from Central Station. It offers fine dining, a spa and free WiFi access. Awesome ambiance, room, breakfast, dinner burger with tryffel french fries and super polite and friendly staff. 10/10!

Set in a charming 1690s building on a peaceful city island, this design hotel is 300 metres from Moderna Museum. All rooms offer flat-screen TV and park or sea views. Great location - close to the other islands via ferry/bus but quietly removed from all of the hustle. Beautiful treed island with great views. Breakfast was fantastic.

Opened in January 2015, Hotel Kungsträdgården is housed in a fully-renovated 18th century building in central Stockholm. Excellent location, helpful staff, a very good breakfast, beautiful building, near bars, restaurant, parks and shops. An uber takes you to the museums for about 100-120sek or its a 25-35 min nice walk by the water

Set by a fortress from 1735, this waterfront hotel on Värmdö Island offers impressive views of Solöfjärden and the surrounding archipelago. The service was excellent, the food and the atmosphere are unique.it's a shame that you couldn't visit the castle. More information about the season for visiting the castle would be needed, but if you want to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it's a wonderful place

This B&B is on the shore of Lake Mälaren, 10 km from Strängnäs and about 1 hour's drive from Stockholm city centre. It offers free Wi-Fi and private parking. The location was wonderful....pretty scenery, quiet country atmosphere, but still close to town. Breakfast included a nice selection of items and the common area in the upstairs where we stayed had everything a guest could want....refigerator, freezer, cooktop, TV, sofa and chairs for lounging or visiting with friends or family. The internet worked really well and we appreciated that there was a parking area that was free to guests.

This renovated barn house is located in the peaceful countryside close to Lake Mälaren, just 6 km from Strängnäs. Free WiFi internet and private parking are included in all rates. All the staff are lovely, feeding the animals is lovely, the surrounding is lovely, definitely recommend!

Situated by the National Museum, this chic waterfront hotel offers views of the Old Town and Royal Palace. It offers a popular bistro-style restaurant and art exhibitions. Everything was outstanding. The location, food, service, staff. Absolutely fabulous.
