Hotel President is a great place to stay in Timisoara, offering everything you need. Staff was pleasant, parking was available non-stop, and breakfast was pretty good. Its not too far from city centre for walking, but you also have trams nearby.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure everything was on point. We got a free upgrade from a queen room to a king room, which was amazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable and it helped me recover quickly from a 10 hour drive. They had an extra terrace on the second floor with easy access for smokers. The hotel is pet friendly and my dog loved it as well. The restaurant, although not having a big menu, provides amazing food and service. Breakfast was top - there is a person ready to prepare fresh omelets and pancakes, coffee and fresh juice is prepared on demand and served without extra charges and not from the typical buffet machines other hotels have. Plenty of secure parking spaces available.

Hotel Boavista features an à la carte restaurant with 2 dining terraces and is located about 1.5 km from downtown Timișoara. I liked room, sauna, gym. good transport to get with tram.

Located in the heart of Timisoara, Continental Hotel is next to the Civic Park and only a few minutes' walk from the historical Unirii Square and the Bastion. Great, newly renovated rooms. Nice gym and little spa area. Fantastic location with paid parking - 5 euro per day. Breakfast was very nice. There is a coffee pod machine which was a nice touch.
